Building Equitable Communities

for the Future

Andrew P. Camilleri holds a PhD in Community Psychology at DePaul University, Chicago.

Hi, I’m Andrew.

Over the last decade, I have been working with various organizations in Malta, Scotland, and the United States. I’ve had the opportunity to work in different areas including housing, mental health, community development, and program evaluation.

I graduated as a lawyer with a specialization in conflict resolution and began my journey in human rights advocacy for migrants. The pain, marginalization, and isolation I saw in this role made me determined to work on preventing such tragedies and led me to community development and community psychology.

Recently I have been working as a consultant with the Malta Housing Authority, the Illinois Council for Developmental Disabilities, and the Lighthouse Institute conducting evaluations, stakeholder engagement, and developing resources. I have also taught research methods, psychology and community development at the undergraduate and postgraduate at DePaul University and the University of Malta.

Interested in exploring a collaboration, why not drop me a line?
